We're a hardworking couple helping homeowners in Tasmania across Launceston, the Tamar Valley & surrounding regions with garden maintenance, landscaping, property maintenance and outdoor projects.
It's more than a business—it's how we like to spend our days.
We started Mr. & Mrs. Muscles because we genuinely enjoy working with our hands, solving problems and helping people.
When we're not working, you'll usually find us hiking up mountains, camping in the bush, working in our own garden or tackling another project. We simply enjoy spending time outdoors and making things together.
That love of the outdoors naturally found its way into this business.
Whether we're mowing a lawn, building a raised garden bed, repairing a fence or bringing an overgrown backyard back to life, we believe every job deserves the same care and attention to detail.
For us, it's not just about maintaining properties—it's about creating outdoor spaces people are proud to come home to.

These are the people behind Mr. & Mrs. Muscles. The ones answering your calls, replying to your emails and turning up at your front door. The ones mowing lawns, mixing concrete, digging holes, planting garden beds, repairing leaky gutters and making sure every job is done properly. No big teams. No subcontractors. Just us.

Henry Sachs
Likes plants. A lot.
Henry is the one who'll happily spend half an hour talking about soil, compost or why one plant will thrive while another won't. Whether he's improving tired soil, selecting the right plants or building a landscape that's made to last, he enjoys helping gardens reach their full potential.
With qualifications in plant science and landscape construction, Henry understands how gardens work from the ground up and enjoys solving problems that keep landscapes healthy for years to come.

Sam Embers
Likes building, fixing and making things.
Sam has always been happiest with a project to work on. Whether it's repairing something that's broken, building something from scratch or figuring out a practical solution to a tricky problem, she enjoys working with her hands and creating things that last.
With qualifications in product and 3D design, experience in construction, and a lifelong habit of making things, Sam combines creative thinking with practical know-how to build, repair and improve things.

Waffles
The dog
Likes chasing balls. A lot.
Waffles is a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever and the youngest member of the Mr. & Mrs. Muscles family. She is currently training to become a service dog. She'll often be joining us on jobs as part of her training. She's learning to stay calm and focused while we do all the heavy lifting. She's already making steady progress on resisting the urge to inspect everyone's lunch.
If you'd prefer Waffles not attend your property, just let us know—we completely understand.

Behind the name
People often ask where the name came from.
Honestly, it started out as a bit of a joke between us. Not because we're bodybuilders or anything. But because we have a strong work ethic and even stronger feelings for one another.
We believe good work comes from rolling up your sleeves, using your muscles and getting stuck in. We've always been the kind of people who do something we've never done before, thinking, "How hard can it be?" Then we put in the work and learn how to do it properly.
Whether we're mowing lawns, moving mulch, building garden beds or solving tricky problems, we're happiest when we're making things, fixing things and helping people.
That's what Mr. & Mrs. Muscles has always been about.
